Poor Grant!

Well yesterday I got out of class and went to meet Grant in a lab in the JFSB and when I got there he was laying on the floor under the computers. He was so sick. He had already thrown up a couple of times. I went and got his car and drove him back to his apartment. He didn't want to go to the doctor, but I was pretty worried about him because he's not a baby about being sick. He was white as a sheet, he couldn't keep anything down, and he was in quite a bit of pain. Finally, I convinced him to let me take him to the emergency room. We had to wait FOREVER to get in, and I didn't know what to do because he was just laying on the floor and he was sweating and it was so scary. Eventually they called us in and they ran some tests and did a cat scan on his belly and we found out that he had appendicitis! crazy! He was not doing very well, so I had to call his mom and dad and his brother and sister. They told us he was going to have to have surgery immediately! His uncle Forest and his cousin came and gave him a blessing and he started to feel a little better. He went into surgery at about 8 pm and got out at 9. He was pretty out of it, but I think he's doing a lot better now. He had lots of people come visit him, mostly cousins (he has 1 million of them) but me and mark stayed with him all the time. I took off finally at 1am. All in all I had been there 11 hours! Mark spend the night with him and then I went back in the morning. They let me take him home today at 1pm.
He's doing well. He can't move too much, but he's being quite a trooper :)
I know mom and dad and em have called a bunch to check how he's doing. Thank you guys so much for your concern and prayers. It was kinda scary yesterday, especially since it felt like I was kind of in charge of him, but I'm so grateful he's ok and that he won't have to spend anymore time in the hospital. I hate being in there again.
Well, I love you all!!

The Beast!

Well, Victoria has finally discovered "Princesses"! Cameron and Addison sent Victoria sing along songs Princess video and she has gone crazy! Oh she likes Ariel, Aurora and Cinderella, but she loves the beast. She lets you know it constantly. Her Dr. the other day was trying to see how her diet is by asking her if she likes a variety of foods, and Victoria responded with, "OH, I love the Beast!" Just today I had to explain to her that it is okay to love more than one thing. We have been telling her a lot how much we love her and her response used to be that she loved us too, but lately she has just been responding with the above response to the Dr. Finally today she understood that it is okay to lovCheck Spellinge Mommy, Daddy and Reed as well as the Beast! So she says, "I love Mommy AND the Beast"

One of my favorite things about her lately is that she has learned to say "Thank you" when given a compliment. So yesterday she said she loved the Beast and I at a loss of responses to that statement commented, "that's because your crazy". Without a hesitation she said, " Thank you". I couldn't help but smile.

Reed is doing great too! He is now a month old and very alert and such a sweetheart. Victoria seems to be adjusting well, as are we all! We love our new addition to our family!
